Dervla McTiernan at the State Library

Dervla McTiernan is a powerhouse writer of crime and thriller novels. Originally from Ireland she's been based in Western Australia for many years now.

Her latest novel is 'What Happened to Nina?' and its that rare combination of searingly poignant and unputdown-able. Told from multiple perspectives, Dervla sensitively tells the story of 20 year old Nina who goes missing. And the lengths that people around her will go to find her, or to place obstacles in the way of the truth.
