In conversation with Mark Mordue

Boy on Fire_MarkMordue_Interview.jpeg

I spoke with journalist, poet, biographer extraordinaire Mark Mordue about his new book ‘Boy on Fire: The Young Nick Cave’. The biography encompasses over a decade of conversations Mark had with Nick Cave about his early years growing up Wangaratta and then moving to Melbourne in his teens. This book offers insights both about Nick Cave’s creation story and evolution as well as about social history and how people influence each other to make music or any art. This conversation was for Sydney bookstore Better Read than Dead.
