Readers - Books and Conversation; Sydney Writers Festival with Robbie Arnott

In this monthly series at the Petersham Bowling Club (READERS - Books and Conversations), I have the pleasure of interviewing authors not just about their latest book but also their writing processes, their inspiration, and their body of work.

Robbie Arnott is a writer from Tasmania and the author of three novels that readers and reviewers have been blown away by. His latest novel, the sparse and beautiful Limberlost, has been shortlisted for the Miles Franklin Literary Award.

In this event, in partnership with Sydney Writers Festival, we spoke about how he uses language, writing about Tasmania, why readers are obsessed with working out what his books actually mean and spotted quolls.
