Robyn Davidson for the Sydney Writers Festival
Robyn Davidson has described her memoir Unfinished Woman as an “infinite book”. “I feel absolutely that I have to write it and absolutely that I can’t write it.”
In this interview, we sat down as part of the Sydney Writers Festival and talked about her process of writing about her mother, what it was like to walk across the desert, what home means to her and ultimately how this book encaptures what it is like for her to be alive - metaphysically, existentially and philosophically.
